Diaphragm and Pinch Valves

Valves for handling viscous, abrasive media in fluids

KLINGER Diaphragm valves are characterized by a straight passage design and are typically used with corrosive or abrasive fluids. This valve type may be either coated or it may feature a liner inside the body. Combined with the diaphragm, they can perform their intended function with minimal wear. Pinch valves are typically used in applications where the media need to be completely isolated from internal valve parts. The sleeve holds the flow medium, and subsequently isolates it from the environment, thus significantly reducing contamination.

Our Diaphragm and Pinch Valves are suitable in chemical and environmental technology, food and beverage, water treatment, as well as in electroplating.

Diaphragm Industrial Valves

A superior choice for corrosive environments

Diaphragm valves, a superior choice in valve technology, offer exceptional advantages. Designed for the most corrosive environments, they provide unmatched corrosion resistance through a wide range of lining and diaphragm materials. Their robust polymer technology ensures outstanding abrasion resistance, making them ideal for handling solids.

KLINGER Diaphragm valves deliver 100% leak-tight shutoff, reduce maintenance costs, and offer precise control with linear operation. Their versatility in installation positions makes them a top choice across industries.

Diaphragm Valves – Key Features

  • Diaphragm valves are the ultimate solution for highly corrosive applications, boasting exceptional resistance to abrasion.
  • They ensure leak-tight shutoff even after countless operations, minimizing emissions and costs.
  • With an isolated operating mechanism, they maintain reliability in challenging conditions, setting them apart from other valve types.
  • Their streamlined design enhances flow control, reduces wear, and extends service life, resulting in unmatched longevity.

KLINGER diaphragm valves offer uncompromising performance and installation flexibility. There are two types of KLINGER diaphragm valves:

  • Diaphragm valve type A
  • Diaphragm valve type KB/K

Pinch Valves

Unprecedented performance and easy maintenance

KLINGER Pinch valves have a robust construction. They are suitable for abrasive fluids, in aggressive environments, especially in regulating or control applications, one of the main fields of application being the mining sector.

The fact that the flexible rubber sleeve is capable of closing drop-tight around the solids, helps in processes with slurries or entrained solids. Compressed air is delivered into the valve’s casing (in soft-seated pinch valves), thus resulting in compression of the rubber tube and a totally tight seal. The different qualities of rubber inside a Pinch Valve determine its areas of application, operating temperatures, and its lasting properties.
